I have an external parallel hard drive . I am not able to know the model of
it. My Operating System doesn't detect it by plug and play. I try to add it
by "add new hardware" but nothing is added. Does anybody knows an utility
that recognizes it and mounts a unit?
Thanks in advance.
Frank.

How do you know it's a parallel drive? If you're going just by the
cable type, and it's a 25-pin cable, it could be a SCSI drive and not
parallel.

You will need to make a better attempt at identifying the hardware. Look
for serial number, model number, FCC number, manufacturers logo.
