Detailed Taskbar-Maintenance Guidance Needed

3 Annoyances--aggravated by lack of depth in any online
sources...

*Behavior of "Toolbars" on the Taskbar--they seemed like
such a perfectly wonderful thing until they "auto-spread"
their folder contents all over the taskbar...my feeble
attempts to control this with my mouse has created the
remaining two unfortunate situations...

*The width of my toolbar (now the 2-rows which I've
always preferred) can be increased, but NOT decreased to
the default one-row...hmmm, and finally

*Location of TabPC "Input Panel" in Taskbar
(this "button" may be specific to the TabPC, but I'll bet
it succumbs to the same taskbar-maintenance actions)

Help in any form would be appreciated
