I have a PC with XP Pro & I've enabled remote desktop
connection. I've made sure I've disabled the firewall in
my network connection properties, as well as in my router
filters. I still keep getting 2 errors. The first is
(when trying to connect) that the computer I'm trying to
connect to is busy or there are network problems
preventing me from logging on. The another is that that
when I enable "remote users" is says, "If you are using
an internet connection sharing or personal firewall, the
correct port must be open to enable remote users." (don't
know what that means).

I'd greatly appreciate any help,
Jason

xp has only a single user licence.

You have to log off the local terminal to be able to log in remotely. Only
one person can be on the machine at a time.

You need not log off to access it remotely.....But only one person can
use the machine at a time.....If someone else accesses ur machine(even
remotely) u'r connection(remote connection) will be terminated..

Are you trying to connect to your PC? Or can you ping the machine you trying
to connecting to?
