Hi there,

Any freeware (software or web site) for easy logo creation? Even a
time-limited trial would do, it's gonna be a one-time use for my small
business.

Thanks for your help,

-Jorge

What kind of logo are you looking for? most of the time I just use a paint
program to create one:

Together my photocamera, pixa, photofiltre, good old paintshop 4.15 and some
nice fonts, I can manage 95 % of all my creative bursts...

Any Draw or paint application should be able to do this or even a DTP with
limited draw capabilities.

I'm rather looking for a professional-look company logo, to be but in
invoices and letterheads, for my SOHO business. A program with templates to
play with would be superb.

Thanks,

If you are really concerned that it looks professional, you should
enlist the aid of a logo designer... check out www.1stlogodesign.com

Serif's DrawPlus 3 actually came with a subsidiary little standalone app
called LogoPlus. A handy little drawing program with tools specifically
designed for creating logos. You might check to see if the current free
version sill has it.

Now that I think about it though, it might have come with Serif's PagePlus.
(Desktop Publishing) At any rate, there is a free version of PagePlus
available as well.

But even if you are reduced to paying for a Serif product, it's not a total
loss, they don't cost very much. (The list prices are kind of high, but a
phone call to Serif will generally reveal a surprisingly good special offer
for registered users of the free stuff - I mean really good - I upgraded
from the free PhotoPlus 5 to the then current PhotoPlus 7 for $10 USD)
