I have a panasonic mini dv camera. When I go to capture, on my laptop using
the IEEE1394 card with my 6 to 4 pin firewire, the vdoe in the capture box is
shoppy and corrupted. I had downloaded adobie preimier pro 7.0 and it
captured fine, but for some reason my adobe premier program keeps cuting off
on me( another subject). Point being I know that i am capale to capture
video on another program and it some out fine, but when I use Windows Movie
Maker, it captures the footage corrupted. Please, if you can assist me, I
will be ELATED!!!!! Thanks

What format are you saving to? AVI, WMV? Or is the choppiness/corruption in
the preview even before capture?

The preview window is only 320x240 low quality video so the actual end
result shouldn't look bad like the preview.
Try rendering the video you capture to either a DV-AVI file or a High
Quality (NTSC) file and view that in your Media Player FULLSCREEN to see how
it looks then.
