For some unknown reason my desktop has turned upside down!
Can anyone help to get it back the right wa

This controlled by your video card. Card-specific. You hit the hot
keys to tell it to rotate. Right mouse click on Desktop, pick
properties, and find the option for your video card to rotate back.
There may be other software you can find in Control Panel which controls
your particular video card.
 
Control Panel/Display/Settings tab, click "advanced", the rotating settings
are usually here.

there is a prank tool used for this. try moving your mouse to the up-left
corner of the screen
