I have just loaded windows live messenger and suddenly lost my desktop
backround(wich was a picture I took) now I have no referance to it anywhere,
does anyone know how I can get it back please?

Try going to Search>Pictures,Music, Videos>type in *.jpg It should
show up in the right pane. Use thumbnail view
