I'm having a problem it is I can't change my wall paper on my desktop the
list that comes up in display properties isnt clickable neither is the browes
butten I'm really lost
 
What security software have you installed?

#... Open a Run Command and type in these DLLs to re-register:

regsvr32 /i msHtml.dll click [OK]
regsvr32 /i shimGvw.dll click [OK]
regsvr32 /i shell32.dll click [OK]
regsvr32 shdocvw.dll click [OK]

Reboot your machine and see if you are able to changes the wallpaper.

First make sure the computer is virus/malware-free:

If the machine is clean, go to the Display applet in Control Panel and
look on the Desktop tab. Click on Customize Desktop, and then click on
the Web tab. You will see that there are checkmarks next to "My Current
Home Page" and probably "Lock Desktop Items". Uncheck these, Apply/OK out.

If Display tabs are missing, run Kelly's registry edit on line 285,
