I recently had a virus or something and my desktop said something about click

promblems went away but now we cannot get the beach picture on my desktop
back. When I go to desktop in appearence and themes and then to display
properties and then desktop all I can do is change the color, it wont let me
go into the background options. However when I start my computer before I do
the control alt del and sign in it is the beach picture. What can I do?

Is it the same problem with you as well?

For Windows XP Professional
===================

1. Click Start - Run - type GPEDIT.MSC
2. Expand to:
User Configuration
Administrative Templates
Control Panel
Display
3. On the right side pane double-click on the entry "Prevent Changing
Wallpaper".
4. If it is set to "Not Configured" or "Enable" then set it to "Disabled"

See if it helps. Then try the following method:

For both Windows XP Professional and Home Edition

1. Click Start - Run - type REGEDIT (Modifying the registry need high
attention. Do it carefully)
2. Expand to:
HKey_Current_USER
Software
Microsoft
Windows
CurrentVersion
Policies
ActiveDesktop
3. On the right side pane check for DWORD value called
"NoChangingWallPaper". If it is set to 1 then double-click on the Dword value
name and set it to 0.
4. if there is not ActiveDesktop sub-folder in Policies then right-click on
Policies and create a New Folder and name it "ActiveDesktop"
5. Furthermore, create a new DWORD value by right-clicking and choose New -
Dword value and name it "NoChangingWallpaper" and set its value to 0.

Hope this information helps you, let us know!
