desktop wizard

Hi all'
I was hoping someone could help me here. I have xp
home ed and the desktop wizard appeared on my screen
tonight but I have managed to remove all the icons I
require, and the ones I was wanting to remain have been
removed. I know they are still intact in my PC as the
message said thay would be moved to a folder.

Could you please help with information on how to recover
these icons?

There should be a folder icon on your desktop named something like
"Removed Icons". Open it and drag the icons that you want back to the
desktop. You can also deactivate the desktop cleanup wizard to
prevent this from happening in the future.

If a shortcut that you want is removed, follow these steps to restore the shortcut:
On the desktop, double-click the Unused Desktop Shortcuts folder. The Unused Desktop Shortcuts dialog box is displayed.

NOTE: If the Unused Desktop Shortcuts dialog box is maximized, click the Restore Down button (appears to the left of the red Close button).
Drag the shortcut that you want to the Windows desktop.
Close the Unused Desktop Shortcuts dialog box.
