Desktop wallpapers, JPG won't load up.

Allof a sudden I cannot use anything other than .bmp
format for wallpapers. I can navigate to my .jpg's that I
have used frequently and click on the picture that I wish
to use, but it doesn't show it up in the preview window
anymore and will not load it. I can only get it to
show .bmp files. this is driving me nuts.

Delete the NoHTMLWallPaper value in the registry

If this was set using Group Policy Editor, you may undo the changes there as well.

Actually I had something else I had downloaded and installed first and
needed to reboot to see if that worked and it did. saw from another
problem, seems wallpaper is a problem, LOL, anyway I tried this first,
your cure would have been second had this not worked. I went here
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and choice number 16
downloaded and double clicked on activedesktop.vbs Now I have to go
and turn my windows load up and sign off sounds off, LOL.
