I would like to know how to take pictures from a disc and
put them as wallpaper for my desktop. can anyone please
help me
Thank You
=======================================
First, you must copy the images to your hard drive.
All images in your My Pictures folder will be available
in the Background list of Display Properties. However...
I have noticed that if I have over 100 images in the folder
that option no longer seems to work.
Also...you can right click an open image and choose...
"Set As Desktop Background".
If you need help copying the images to your hard drive...
her are some instructions:
1) Right click your desktop, choose...
New / Folder. This will create a New
Folder on your desktop...this is where
the image files will be copied. Give the
folder any name you like.
2) Insert the CD in your CD drive. A
dialog box may appear on your screen
that says: What do you want windows
to do? You will have several choices...
Choose...
"Open Folder To View Files" / "OK".
2B) If the dialog box does not appear...
go to the *My Computer* icon on your
desktop and left click it. In the window
that opens you will see all of your drives.
Right click the icon for your CD drive...
(probably (D
...from the menu...choose
...."Open"...
3) Now you should see a window with
some folders in it. This is the contents of
the CD. Left click the various folders until
you find the image files. When you see
the images pop up...Go to the toolbar at
the top of the window and left click...
....Edit / Select All...
.....once more....
....Edit / Copy...
Now you can close the window.
4) Now...right click your New Folder and
from the menu...choose...Paste...this
will copy the selected image files into
your New Folder.
