As I understand it, I have three options for positioning my photo on
the desktop. 1. Full screen, 2. Tiled, 3. In the middle of the
screen. If it's in the middle of the screen, sizing is not an option.
Also, I can change the background color.

I changed the background color to my liking. However, no matter which
of the three options I choose for positioning the photo, it covers the
entire desktop. I cannot get the tiling effect and I have lost the
ability to place the photo in the middle of the screen. I need help
getting the options back. Also, if possible, I would like to know if
there's a way to size the photo in the middle of the desktop (and, can
I change its' position on the desktop?). Thank you.....
 
What is the original resolution of the photo you're using. If say it's
1024x760 and your desktop resolution is the same, it will cover the whole
screen. So, either 1) crop the photo to a smaller resolution or 2) increase
the desktop resolution...
