Hi........any idea how to stop every single jpg on my computer being
displayed in the "Display Properties/Desktop/Background window? I just want
it to show a single folder so that I can select a background picture from
that folder, not run through the entire contents of the hard drive as I have
to at the moment...........
Thx
Dale

Move the pics to a folder of your own making.. any pic in the default folder
becomes fair game for the desktop

How can you change the default folder? My computer changed it to My
Pictures instead of Windows.

You don't.. just create a folder of your own and move the pictures to it..

He's right. The C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper folder is hard-coded as the location, and there is no known way to change it. I haven't
checked, but I believe that files from "My Documents(\My Pictures)" may also be used to load the list.

Hope the next version of Windows will be easier to
customise...............thx all, Dale
