desktop wallpaper question

hi.

for some strange reason, all of a sudden all my image
files in the 'my pictures' folder is available in the
selection box as a desktop wallpaper. before this
happened, it only looked at the c:\wINDOWS\web\wallpaper
folder for images (i prefer it this way). i have more
than 100 images in the 'my pictures' folder so windows
shouldn't be looking there for images. how can i revert
back to windows only looking at the
c:\windows\web\wallpaper folder for desktop wallpapers?

ps/ please don't advise on using sys restore since i
cleared it already. yikes! :P
 
If I am not mistaken I think Windows will look for the wallpaper in the last
folder that an image was chosen from, of course I have been known to be
totally incorrect on a lot of issues :)
 
nope, that isn't correct. i tried it and it didn't
work. :(

Windows XP looks in BOTH \web\wallpaper and "my pictures" for
wallpaper images.
You can try some customization sites like
http://www.kellys-korner.com/ to see if a tweak is available to adjust
this........... or simply try saving your porn to a different folder.

Personally? "My Pictures" folder is one that has had only cobwebs in
it since the day XP came out.
