I am using XP, and when I download a new
image for my desktop background the list
in the properties box shrinks to just the sample
images. I was wondering does anybody know
why, and is there a limit on how many photos
you can use for backgrounds in XP?
===================================
If you simply...right click an image on the web
and choose, "Set As Background"...it is listed
as "Internet Explorer Wallpaper" and if you
download a new image...it replaces the previous
one. You can find the current one at:
C:\Documents and Settings\your name\
Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer
If you wish to download and keep the images
from the web....save them in your My Pictures
folder (right click / save picture as). Then, by
default, they will be available in the Desktop
Background list.
If you wish to keep the images but do not want
them available in the background list...save
them in a different folder...My Documents for
example.
