desktop timeouts

Can I change the setting which timeouts my desktop after x mintues?
I don't think the default timeout is useful and coming back to the welcome
screen over and over during the day is frustrating.

Right click on your desktop and select Properties, go to Screen Savers
and set the screen saver and time you want, you will also see a box "On
resume, password protect" deselect it and click apply, click the Power
btton and go to Advanced, deselect Prompt fo password when the computer
resumes from standby, click Apply, and close the windows.
