Help, please. I can successfully create a desktop shortcut to a specific
website but it will not open the webpage when I click on the shortcut. I
have a Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop running Windows XP home edition and using
Internet Explorer 7. Can someone advise what I am doing wrong? Thanks, Sue

Do all the shortcuts on the desktop that you did not create work? How are
you creating the shortcut?

1: Save the Webpage to My Favorites.

2: Drag it from My Favorites to the Windows Taskbar. An icon will be placed
there.

3: Drag the icon from the Taskbar to the desktop.

Does that work?

What does the shortcut contain for Target?
