Desktop Shortcuts for CD-RW/DVD Player & Floppy Drive

I have tried everyway I know and followed all the
instructions in Help to install desktop shortcuts for my
CD-RW/DVD Player & my Floppy Disk drive. I am getting a
box that tells me the shortcut cannot find the target.
Anyone have a solution? Thanks, Al
 
Open Control Panel > Add/Remove programs and uninstall the Microsoft
WindowsUpdate hotfix "821557"
