I'm using filecopy to copy a file from a network location to the local
machine. This works well. I also want to be able to create a shortcut for
the file and place it on the users desktop. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Justin,
This newsgroup deals with Microsoft Access, a relational dabatase application... not
Windows issues.
However, you can always locate the file on your drive, and RightClick, and select
SendTo... then Desktop.

I know what this newsgroup deals with. I didn't think I had to specify that
I'm using vb code in access to copy the files. I want to use vb code to
create the shortcuts after I copy the file.
