desktop setting

Greetings,

I have a user who is using windows 2000 professional and
used to login NT4 server whithout joining domain. Now we
have windows 2000 DC, he canot access any shared documents
like he used to do on nt4 server. He has listed under
users in DC. THe question is how can i save his settings
(like desktop) and join hhis computer domain?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Copy his profile to the All Users profile, then join the domain.

One thing, I usually do this myself and working fine no matter what domain
I'm in. The user account has to be identical including password. The shares
have to allow that user account permissions.
