Hi

I have Win2k domain with AD.I want to prevent users from
saving files in Desktop.I have winxp and win2k pro clients.
In my envoronment more than one person use a single
client.So i want the above settings effected to all the
users logging in to any Pc.Can it be done thro' Group
policy or am i have to do it in each client?In both cases
how can i accomplish the task??Pls help me

Mandatory roaming profiles may be one solution. Otherwise change the ntfs
permissions on the desktop folder in their user profiles under my documents
and settings so that they have only read/list/execute permissions and are
not the owner of that folder. --- Steve
