Desktop rotated 90 degrees

Help! I don't know what I did but I accidentally pressed something on
my keyboard and now my whole desktop and everything is rotated! I've
had to turn my monitor, it's lying on it's side. I've tried re-booting
but it keeps coming up this way. I'm so frustrated!
Anyone know how to bring things back to normal? Please answer ASAP,
I'm desperate!

Try this:

Right click the Desktop, select Properties>Settings>Advanced. See if there
is a setting in there to rotate the screen back to normal. If you have
Nvidia software installed try clicking on the tab for your graphics card and
have a look for NVRotate on the left hand side.

If you do have an Nvidia card there may be an icon in the Notification Area.
If so, right click on it, select Rotation Settings and then set it to 0
degrees.

You'll have to go into your graphic card parameters !!! if you have an icon
in the bottom right of your screen which concerns your graphics card, click
on it and see if you have something about display rotation...
 
Thanks, I ended up going to settings, control panel, Intel GMA driver.
It was so weird though, all the choices on the menu tabs had been
replaced by nothing but question marks. I did find one thing that
said 90, 180, 270 so I figured that was it and played around till it
was back to normal. Still, these question marks are strange, never
saw that before. It's the only menu that's doing that. Any ideas?
 
Something may have messed up your graphics driver. See if you can reload it
from the system restore disk or partition.
 
There is nothing wrong with the driver.
This is normal behavior for this intel graphics card.
I have one on my workstation at work and there is a key combo to rotate the
display. This would be useful I had a display that would change orientation.
I do not.
So I don't use it.
But it is normal, and is a feature that some , not all...not even many,
might find useful.

No and I think that's why it was suggested to try and reinstall the display
drivers. Windows provides a few basic tabs here. Many display driver
packages add additional tabs. If the display driver glitched to cause the
question marks, it may have glitched in not so obvious was as well.
