Desktop/profile replication snowballing madness

For some reason....and it only happens on servers....everything on the
desktop copies itself as if it were part of a roaming profile...

However....

I do not have a roaming profile path in my user account...

To the best I can tell in gpo (using resultant) I cannot see where a
policy is mandating this.

If I delete something off my desktop it shows back up upon logging back
on.

If I add something to a desktop it cascades to all server desktops
eventually.

I've deleted my profile from these various servers (now over 1 GB,
ouch!) ... no luck. It wants to copy itself no matter what. There's no
sign of this abating.

Please help!

I have not seen this before. I can only theorize that someone has messed
with the registry or that for some reason everythin gis being saved to the
all users profile. I would try using regmon/filemon from
http://www.sysinternals.com to see if you can see what is going on.
