I am trying to figure out how to cutomize my desktop, like adding the
Internet Explorer Icon and also the program that stacks the screens on my
desktop.

So far I like Vista, some issues with some programs, but the customazation
stuff kinda sucks and is hard to use.

Is there place for noob Vista users? LOL

Most of this is very similar to XP. To add a desktop icon from the start
menu, right click the program and select "Send to Desktop". To add to quick
launch, right click the taskbar, enable quick launch, drag icon to
taskbar.I'm not sure what you mean by the program that stacks the screens,
but if you mean Flip 3D, just use the Windows key+Tab when you have several
open windows.

Thanks Jim, I was refuring to the new little thing that Vista does with
putting stuff in the middle. Sorry I don't know what it is.

To add the IE icon to the desktop just double click on the .reg file
attached (but it is generally not a good idea to trust .reg files that
people give you like this, if you don't know how to check its contents, but
I am trying to make it easy for you).

To add the icon for 3D Flip to your desktop, just drag it from the Taskbar
with the right mouse button and copy it.
