desktop performance

I recently upgraded my computer... bought an Asus m2ne sli mainboard with
Athlon 64 x2 5400 processor 1 gig 500 mhz ram.. sata HD got a PNY geforce
7300 gs 256mb ddr2 PCIe GPU. I thaught I was pretty much set to rip it up,
but my desktop performance is only 3.0 :( Everything else is up at the top
end except the "D.P." is there anything I can do about that? I ordered the 64
bit upgrade disk to take full advantage of the processor, will that help?
All that being said, I CAN play the high end games I want to play, I guess I
just kind of took it like a slap in the face that it looks so low.

2 gig RAM would be sweet.
That 7300 is low end for graphics card.

yours is towards the bottom.

My SLI 6800's get a 4.9 graphics....5.9 desktop

ouch! teach me to shop wallmart...OK second question then, I still have previous GPU...a radeon x1300 256 mb GDDR2 it scores much higher on that list but is a PCI while the new one is PCIe...should I try the other or do you think I am better off with the PCIe card?

The PCIe card is probably faster....but you'll try the x1300 anyway ! ;)
If you swap cards though..it may set off Vista's activation...you'll have to
reactivate, phone method is about 5 minutes.

I don't think changing the graphics card will cause a reactivation to be
necessary.
I changed my Radeon 9600 pro (AGP) for a old PCI card for a test and no
re-activation was necessary.

What in the world are you talking about?
Your incoherent drivel is totally unintelligible.
Are you on drugs or what?

responds with his usual lies, insults and bluster.
