Desktop management lost

Need help

I have recently run Symantec's Windoctor followed by Speed
Disk. Now when I right click on my desktop nothing
happens. I cannot open folders in Control Panel such as
display, date and time, add/remove programs, etc. Any
thoughts as to how I might fix this? Thanks

Did you use the "Undo" feature when you ran Windoctor? It sounds like it
may have removed something it shouldn't have. Using "Undo" to restore what
Windoctor removed should put things back into place.

Personally, I avoid fix-it programs but know that there are folks that like
them. Would encourage *not* using any "one click" repairs options. Instead
review the "problem" reports on a one by one basis and be conservative in
decisions about how each should be handled.
