desktop makes his own desktop folder

hello,i need help,i'm downloading some stuff on my desktop,but everytime the
dekstop makes his own desktop folder,and i copy that stuff on the desktop and
delete the dektop folder,but next time,he makes his own desktop folder
again.help :)

When you download a file from the internet, you are prompted about where to
save it to. Currently, it probably shows the name of the desktop folder
that keeps reappearing. Try changing the location in that dialog to the
folder that you keep moving things to.

No,i'm not moving things to another folder,i just take them out of that
''desktop'' folder on desktop,and i don't want to save those things in some
folder on my desktop,i just want to download them on the ''original'' desktop
..hehe :) thank you in advance

So "Desktop" is the destination that you want - not \Desktop\somefolder\
Same answer - change the location in the prompt when asked where you want
to download (or save) the file to.

The "desktop" is a folder. Windows just happens to handle that folder a
little differently than others. You should see Desktop as a choice at the
top of the dropdown list of possible save locations. Or you can navigate
down your user folders and select the Desktop folder found there. The end
results will be the same - a file saved on(in) your desktop.
