I hope I am in the right place for this. Excuse me if I
am not.

I have 3 unwanted icons on my desktop. When I delete them
and then empty the recycle bin, the icons come back after
I reboot. How may I remove them permanently?

Right click the IE icon | Properties | Advanced tab |
Make sure both of these are NOT checked.

 Enable Install On Demand (Internet Explorer)
