I would like to change some icons on my desktop. when i right click, go to
properties, and go to change icon, I only have 4 choices. where can i go to
import a bunch of icons so i have a good selection? I tried some clip art
files but those files don't work.

Dan.
In the change icon dialogue box, browse for shell.dll and moricons.dll,
both in windows\system32.

Use Google to search for icons and you will get an endless selection of
websites that have free icons available for downloading.

Create a folder on the C: drive called icons and place the icons in this
folder.

When you want to change the icon for a shortcut, use the Browse button to
select the new Icons folder and select the icon you wish to use.

thanks- works great! Dan
