Every once in awhile (after I do something with software or hardware -
usually installing), my screen resolution gets changed - or my desktop icons
get all jumbled - or my quick launch tray icons get all jumbled up - or all
three. Is there a way to put them all back where they belong without doing
it manually? It seems to me that there ought to be some files in Documents
and Settings that have those files. I backup my system almost every day -
so yesterday's files are always available. Also, I have a program called
Quick Notes Plus - sticky notes that I can place on my desktop. They also
get jumbled up - especially when my screen resolution changes. The I have
to manually put them back the way I want them. Today, I installed a Matrox
G450 card and all of the above happened. Also, even after I rebooted, my
Quick Notes got scrambled on the desktop - after I had straightened them
out. Thanks.........
