Desktop-Icon-Label-Backround-Color

The icons and shortcuts on my desktop, never used to have
a backround color under their writing. suddenly there is
a blue backround on it. I tried to get rid of it and have
it back to the transperent backround, but i am unable to
do so... I tired everything knew.
Please help me.

Hi Murat,

Checkpoints to consider:

1) Right click on desktop >> arrange icons by >> uncheck "Lock Web items on
desktop"

2) Right click on My Computer >> Properties >> Advanced tab >> Settings
under 'Performance' >> check "Use drop shadows for icon labels on desktop".

Can you set the "drop shadows" programatically within a VBScript or perhaps
with a registry key?
