Hello All,
Does anyone know a way to change the font color under
icons on the desktop? They are white, and don't show up
real well against the wallpaper I've got. I found the
way to change the font and the size, but the color part
of the equation is unavailable there. I tried making it
bold, and that helped some, but it also made the folder
names in my Outlook folder bar all be bold, which meant
they all looked like they had unread mail in them, so I
had to turn that off.
If anyone has an idea, I'd love to hear it.

Thanks,
Mike

Right-click the desktop, properties, appearance tab, advanced, scroll down to Window.

Mike,
I just changed the color block the fonts were in, maybe
there's another way, but this worked for me. I went into
the Control Panel, Display, Display Properties,
Appearance, Advanced (on the lower right)the Advanced
Appearance and down on the "Item" I have Desktop, then to
the right of that is "Color 1" and I have a medium blue
(your choice!) and it works great for me, this might not
be what you want to do, but you can at least see a
difference.
