I do not want my Icon fonts to be in any color. I want clear. I thought
they once were clear then all of a sudden there is a color background. I can
change the color but I want clear. Any fix?

So, if they were clear, they would be transparent, and you couldn't see them
against any background?

Actually, I don't want the fonts themselves to be clear, but I want a clear
background, not one with a color.

Click on the Start button
Select Control Panel
If you're using WinXP Style, then select Performance and Maintenance/Adjust
Visual Effects/"Use drop shadows for icon labels on the Desktop".
If you're using Classic Style - Control
Panel/System/Advanced/Performance/Settings

If this still doesn't do the trick, right-click the desktop, point to Arrange
Icons By and make sure that Lock Web Items on Desktop is un-checked;

That did it! "Use drop shadows for icons labels on the Desktop" was the
answer. Thanks so much.

To have transparent icons.

1) Hold down the Windows key and press Pause/Break. On the "Advanced" tab,
under "Performance" click "Settings." On the "Visual Effects" tab, make sure
the box "Use drop shadows for icon labels" is checked

2) Right-click on the Desktop, and make sure that "Arrange Icons by" "Lock
Web items" is not checked.

3) Right-click on the Desktop, and choose Properties. On the "Desktop" tab,
click "Customize Desktop," then on the "Web" tab, uncheck all boxes.

4) Make sure any Wallpaper is an image file. Html will stop the
transparency.
