I recently had to reinstall Windows XP Home Edition and cannot recall how to
display the calendar on the desktop. Can anyone give me instructions to have
the calendar displayed?

There's no true 'built-in' way in Windows. Plenty of 3rd party solutions, though. If you have
Outlook, you can display the Outlook calendar via an Active Desktop item, is that what you're
thinking of?

I replied earlier, but I don't think it transmitted properly.

The calendar I'm referring to has appeared on my desktop since I first
bought my computer. I don't think it's an Outlook calendar. It appears in
the upper right hand corner with the current month shown prominently, with
several future months shown in smaller fonts. It has no background.

I'm not a technical person, so if you can come up with a solution, I would
very much appreciate it.

Third-party tool. No doubt about it. That's not built-in.

I think Webshots has that. If that's what you had, you might want to
redownload/reinstall it.

I'll try that. I have not reinstalled Webshots, but will do so and hope that
solves the problem.
