I had accidentally activated the PaintDesktopVersion in
the registry. Thus it displays the Windows Build number in
the desktop.
The registry key is
HKEY_Current_User\Control Panel\Desktop
I had tried to disable the registry key by putting a 0
instead. Reboot the system, the build version still exists.
I had tried with the setting 1 as well.
How can I safely disable the build existence in the
desktop?
