I have used from time to time, other than the MS Windows XP supplied list of
wallpaper backgrounds. Ones from my own photos. They then appear in the
"list" of Backgrounds on the Desktop Tab of the Display Properties Window.

How do I remove them from this list after I stop using them as a current
wallpaper? Some I will never want to use again and the list just gets longer?
What file/ folder are they in so I can delete them? I have done a file
search and cannot locate them.

Win XP Home ed SP 2, IE 6.0

Thank you. I understand. And by the way...using the information you gave me I was able to locate those wallpaper files. Thanks again and I understand about the multiple postings.
