If I upgrade my home PC from ME to XP Home Edition, will I have to upgrade my desktop applications like Word and Excel as well?

Not at all, Windows XP works well with Office 97 and Office 2000.

Absolutely not. XP will work with your current versions as long as you're not working in the ice age.

Hi- I am new to this sort of support but am hoping someone can help... Is there a compatability issue with Windows XP and Excel 2000? I cannot seem to print color using an excel spreadsheet. It is the only software that will not let me print color. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
