There are two HP drivers for the 820 series that will cause the system to
crash. If they are either of these they are blocked from installation. I
don't see the cse specifically blocked, but I think the only difference
between the printers was the software bundle that came with the device.

"HP DeskJet 820C Series v8.5" = "HP DeskJet 820Cxi", 1, 1

If the disks you, have are the original that came with the printer, they may
be Windows 95,98, ME drivers that cannot be installed on XP.
