I changed to Windows 2000Pro and have never been able to
get my 710c HP to work correctly. I have tried to find new
driver to no avail.
I can't print more than a page at a time. This printer did
work fine with Windows 98SE but since the upgrade has been
a problem.
The printer is listed in the "add new printer" files but
whatever drive that installs has been of no use.
HP has no current driver listed for this printer.
Anyone with real help I would love to hear from at the
above E-Mail address

I has a similar problem today. Go to www.hp.com and do a search for ScanJet
software (about 5MBs in size).

Install this on your printer server. You will need the MAC address of you
printer. Near the end of the installation, there is a lovely little program
that allows you to create a "Shortcut installation" to the printer you have
just added. Add this to a shared folder and get the user to install the
printer from there.

I removed the printer giving me problems first, and then ran the program.
It has saved my bacon a few times and use this now to install any new
printers across my network. By the way, the problem I had today was in
Manchester, England, and I was sat in London doing this. Excellent tool.
