I am running Windows XP Home Edition, and have been for quite some time. My
issue is that in the past month I have noticed that the icon for my recycle
bin is missing.

Now I am not new to computers by any means, I understand and know how to
change icons at will simply by right clicking and going to properties, and
changing the default icon if I so desire...

The problem is with this os I am running Norton Antivirus 2004 and it has
protected the recycle bin...the problem did not occur when I installed Norton
- indeed it was installed at the same time I reformatted my laptop and
installed Windows XP.

This problem happened around a month ago when I dumped the recycle bin and
now the icon is missing and I cannot even do the typical right click to
change the icon because that option is not listed as being available.

How can I locate another icon and change it? I have even searched the CD as
well as my system for the icon, as well as tried to see if I could do a
repair on my OS...unfortunately with the new SP2 upgrade - my disk tells me
it can't because it isn't the newest version.

Anyone have any ideas?

I'm stumped!

Forget the issue - shortly after posting, I figured out how to get this to
change.
Thanks anyway!
