Hi,

I'm in a desperate search for the original drivers CD, that came with this
printer... I''ve lost mine somewhere, and HP doesn't provide the postscript
driver and the RIP software on it's website, only the basic driver for
printing from office apps. Google doesn't want to help either ;(

Help!

I do not know about your region, but in the US these can be ordered on
CD Rom from:
https://warp2.external.hp.com/Driver/dr_country_select.asp?From=BSC&Product=C7790-60437
(Windows version 3.2), $9.95 in the US.
https://warp2.external.hp.com/Driver/dr_country_select.asp?From=BSC&Product=C7790-60273
(Windows and MAC version 1.2), free in the US.

These links also have a link for "all regions" with information on how
to order the disks from outside the US or Canada.

There is also apparently a free OSX driver available for download, see

Well I know those can be ordered, but since I once purchased the
printer with those drivers, and I'm still the owner, copying them from
i.e. a friend's CD, wouldn't be (stop me if I'm wrong) considered as
piracy.

Which OS do you have? Have you tried the link I provided to see if the
disk you need is free?
