Design View problem Access 2003

After a recent upgrade to Access 2003 I have encountered a major problem with
editing forms .. bound to pass through queries .. in design view. Even minor
edits such as attempting to alter size of text box result in the application
freezing. This only happens with forms bound to a pass through query. It does
not happen on earlier version of Access. I have tried all the usual
optimisation tricks .. even checking the old one of outlook journal ..all to
no avial. Any ideas ?
 
When I upgraded to access2003 my application start freezing also, in the end,
I found out the cause for it is: In the load of the form I had the code
docmd.echo false
this line freeze my form, I removed them all, and since then, for the last
six month it never happened.
