I have designed a database which should be multi-user accessed on a network.
To a large extent, it has turned out to be what I intend it to be, but the
problem that I encountered today is that when I tried using it on another
computer, it looks are different from that on the computer on which I
designed it. To put it simply, its lenght is longer and wider that what I
original intended.

Can anyone help me on this please?

Everyone most likely has their screen resolution set differently. Either
set them to the same as yours, or decrease your settings and design the
forms to fit your new larger fonts.

If you're referring to form sizes, then Access forms are a fixed size and do
not scale automatically for different screen resolutions. In inches, 8.5" x
5 " is close to full screen on a monitor set at 800x600 resolution. Forms
designed for that size will overflow a 640x480 screen, and without scroll
bars will be unusable in the non-viewable areas.

There are a few third party modules that will sense monitor resolution and
dynamically size forms and their controls to fit. Most work OK, though my
experience is that they all have minor drawbacks such as failure to effect
all controls equally and some slowness in display.
