Are the design patters found at
http://www.dofactory.com/Patterns/Patterns.aspx a good idea to follow when
creating objects? Or is there any better ones? Is there a similar website to
this one that gives design patterns/practices for multi teer applications?

Andy,

There are more roads to go to Rome.

When I saw this, then I thought this is a typical good book and paterns for
UML users.
But it is not that we all are using that.
UML gives us beside a clear view on what we are making a bunch of overhead.
