Design Help Needed - (2 fold)

[PA-OAG]

I am in need to design two databases.
ONE- to enter data provided to show/track a single suspects hours and check
for 'overlaps' from forms they provide. Most suspects have multiple
'employers', and overlap multiple times a day for several years.
TWO- for a non-profit youth association to track families, thier children,
and register them for the different sports offered.
ANY help would be MUCH appreciated.
