Hi all! I usually get some good help here, so here goes
New PC
Plenty of memory
Running Vista Home Premium
Office XP.
I managed to create a table in design view, but as the datbase is quite
large, I prefer to enter data using a form. I clicked on create form using
wizard>selected layout>tabular>next...then I get a message
"application-defined or object-defined error" and the program won't let me go
further. I have run detect and repair, but no luck. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

Well it sounds like a certain file hasn't been installed correctly. My advice
to reinstall that would probably solve the issue. I know a lot of hassle but
at the end you will benefit from it.

Hi Maurice! Yep! you are probably right, I guess I could cherry pick Access
from the install disk and just re-install that, am I correct?
Thanks for advice so far

Yes you should. Someone mentioned this problem before and reinatlling did the
trick (that doesn't have to mean that it automatically will work for you as
well, but he it's the most logical step so far).
