I have a report in Excel that the gouping labels are verticle on the left
margin, I would like to replicate this in Access.

You can bind text boxes to values in your report's record source. You can
place these text boxes anywhere you want.

You won't be able to provide interactive functionality to these text boxes.

Thank you for your response, I think that my question was not clear enough,
what I want is as such: I have a report listing different countries and the
related data. I want to group the countries by risk classifications,
"Developed Countries" and "Less Developed Countries". Below is what I hope
is a clearer example. The labels "Developed Countries" and "Less Developed
Countries" would be located vertically on the left margin.

D Spain
E France
V Germany
E Russia
L Italy
O Canada
P Hong Kong
E Japan
D Switzerland

______________________________________________________

L Argentina
E Ecuador
S Guam
S Bahamas
Colombia
D Brazil
E Guatemala
V Congo
E Mexico
L Honduras
O Panama

The easiest method would be to place your risk classification in your main
report and place the actual countries in a subreport to the right of the
risk classification.
