Description of Win2K Startup items

Looking for descriptions of the items in the Windows 2000
Startup list when viewed via the MSCONFIG utility. Need
to be sure what each does before I turn them off for
faster startups. I'm familiar with the MS Office, NAV,
and NVCMTray items but not with the others. Would
appreciate a pointer towards finding the descriptions.

You'll need to post a list of what you find. We have no way of knowing
what starts automatically on your system. Odds are you'll find that you
want most of them, and that preventing the ones you don't need from
starting doesn't make all that much difference in the startup time. I
find the best way to deal with slow startups is not to shut the system
down unless absolutely necessary.
