Deploying to Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition

this is only a small minor issue but is annoying me

we currently deploy .NET Smart Device Applications to Pocket PC v4.20.1081
without any problems. recently we tried installing on v4.21.1088

the install runs fine and it completes but i get a one off warning message
at the end of the install saying that the application was configured to run
on a previous version of windows and may not display properly.

i was wondering how n why this message is appearing? i dont specify any
particular type of OS except that i select Pocket PC when asked "What
platform do you want to target?" in the Smart Device Application Wizard when
creating a new project

i am using .NET framework 1.1 (v1.1.4322) & VS.NET v7.1.3088

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Craig,
You need to build a Orientation Aware application
for Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition .
But there is fix (BuildMax Value) in CAB, that you can check this
article to fix.
There is no fix or patched release for SQL CE CAB file.

Make sure your application works in both portrait and landscape.
